The fifth section of the Provincial Court of Pontevedra, based in Vigo, will hear evidence from Wednesday against a social worker for whom they ask for 11 years in prison for a continuous crime of sexual abuse of a minor under 16 years of age that she met in the juvenile centre in which she worked.
The events occurred between 2018 and 2019, when the accused had a romantic relationship with complete sexual relations with a girl, a minor, that she met when she was working as a social worker in a juvenile centre.
By resolution dated January 30, 2020, a protection order was agreed that prohibited the accused from approaching less than 100 metres from the minor and from communicating with her by any means, which remains in force.
In addition to the penalty, the Public Ministry requests a prohibition on communicating with the victim and approaching her, her home, place of work, study centre and any place where she is less than 100 metres away for a period of 15 years.
