Santander will host performances by the best illusionists from around the world at the ‘Voilá’ International Magic Festival, which will be held from today until Sunday.
The inaugural show for all audiences by ‘Mago Patxi’, who will present ‘Vacilón’, will take place on Friday at 6:00 p.m. in the Plaza de la Catedral.
On Saturday, the Town Hall Square will be the scene of the ‘Cabinet of Magical Curiosities’, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., while from 8:00 p.m. the great mentalism gala ‘Anthony Blake-Beyond the imagination’ will take place in the Salesian auditorium.
On Sunday the 12th, the Town Hall Square will host, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., the ‘Magic Carriage’ event, which will be followed, at 12:30 p.m., in the Cathedral Square, by the solidarity gala with ‘Asier Moon, Dacsa and Rub ‘ that will make visible the work of the association against childhood cancer ‘Dosis de Sonrisas’.
The illusionists will attract the public with their show and will include small notes in their effects that have to do with the work of the association. The show is free to the public, but there will be a stand from the entity for anyone who wants to collaborate and learn about their work and career.
In the afternoon, starting at 5:00 p.m., the Salesians auditorium will host the grand closing gala with the show ‘Mago Xuxo, 15 years being a scoundrel’. This is a completely new proposal, which will be performed only once in Cantabria and exclusively within the festival programme.
