The Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (Mitma), through ENAIRE, in charge of the national management of air navigation, broke the record for the highest number of flights in the history of aviation in Spain in July with 223,107 operations in a month, which makes an average of 7,197 flights a day.

“Our country has been one of the main drivers of aviation recovery since 2021, with more flight records than the European average, fewer delays and outstanding performance in safety standards, thanks to the public service commitment of the ENAIRE workers”, concluded Raquel Sánchez.
