Bull fighting and fiesta animal abuse protest this Sunday

Whilst protests over the octopus farm continue, the AnimaNaturalis and CAS animal welfare groups have turned their attention to other animal cruelty event, with the first protest of the year against cruel parties with animals, including bull fighting, and to demand that not a single euro be allocated to shows of animal abuse.

The protest is taking place on Sunday June 25 in the Plaza Mayor in Madrid at 10:30.

Although all of the necessary protest materials will be given to you by the organisers, they do ask that all attendees dress in black for the occasion.

The next octopus farm protest will take place in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on Sunday 11 June. Octopuses are unprotected from suffering and inhumane slaughter methods, as there are currently no laws in the EU or anywhere that regulate their welfare and farming. It would be totally irresponsible for the authorities to allow octopus farming schemes to continue without proper legislation, the organisers of that event protest.
