Last chance to vote by post!

The deadline for voting by mail for the regional and municipal elections on May 28 has been extended until Thursday, May 25, as agreed by the Central Electoral Board. So, anyone who wants to take advantage of this method of voting will be able to do so during the usual hours of Post Offices throughout Spain until tomorrow.

The period to deposit the vote was initially scheduled to end today, Wednesday 24 May, but with the extension decision adopted, citizens who have requested to exercise their right to vote by correspondence for the regional and municipal elections to be held on May 28, they will have more time to cast their vote.

But do not delay any further if this is you, as Correos, details in a note, you “must ensure the delivery of said envelopes with votes at the respective polling stations on election day on Sunday, May 28, within the legally established deadlines.”
