More than half of Spaniards will seek to change jobs in 2022

According to a study carried out by LinkedIn, 58% of Spaniards are thinking of changing jobs in 2022, mainly to enable a better balance between their work life and their personal life (34%), a better salary (33%) and new opportunities in their work environment (25%).

The study also reflects that 19% of the workers surveyed have increased their confidence regarding their own work, and 12% feel motivated to look for new job opportunities that they are really passionate about. In addition, a total of 17% of the sample affirm that the pandemic has helped them lose their fear of failure in the work environment, which makes them take greater risks and dare to carry out changes in their career.

In conjunction with this study, LinkedIn has published the “Booming Jobs” list of the 25 positions that will lead the national market in 2022. Among the best-placed positions are site reliability engineer, business development manager, cloud systems and cybersecurity expert, these are the most prominent jobs on this list.

The list of «Booming Jobs 2022» reveals 25 jobs related to sectors such as technology, innovation, science or sustainability, which for the general director of LinkedIn Spain and Portugal «offers a clear vision of where the market is headed where the long-term opportunities can be found.
