Fully Vaccinated who are Infected with Covid will Receive Third Dose

The Ministry of Health has modified the vaccination strategy against Covid-19, to include a third dose for those under 65 years of age who have been infected with coronavirus.

As stated in the latest document published by the Ministry, this booster dose with mRNA will be administered at least 4 weeks after diagnosis of the infection “and 6 months after the last dose in the primary vaccination if it was with MRNA (Pfizer or Moderna) or at 3 months if it was with adenovirus vaccine (Janssen or AstraZeneca)”.

The Ministry specifies that a person with a history of infection is considered to be someone who has a positive test for active infection with a date prior to vaccination or a positive result by high-performance serology (ELISA or CLIA), regardless of the protein detected.
