Daily coronavirus-related deaths in Spain has now dropped to 138, according to the most recent statistics published by the Spanish Ministry of Health. This is a fall from the previous day when 217 people lost their lives and it is the second lowest figure to be recorded since March.
The statistics show an increase in the number of deaths in the ast 24 hours. 138 people died from Covid-19 and there were 346 new hospitalised cases throughout Spain. Furthermore, there have been a total number of confirmed cases to date at 230.183 of which 144.783 have been cured from the virus.
The numbers of those dying from Covid-19 in Spain have remained under 200 for most of this week:
Sunday – 143
Monday – 123
Tuesday – 176
Wednesday – 184
Five of Spain’s 17 regions recorded no Covid-19-related deaths:
Aragón, Cantabria and Murcia each recorded just one fatality, while Navarre, Asturias and Extremadura each reported two. Castilla y León recorded 5 deaths while the Valencian Community recorded 9 fatalities.
